Spanish Revival Historic
Phoenix, Arizona — Partial Remodel + Full Furnish
This 450 sq ft primary suite and office renovation reimagines a portion of a 1920s Spanish Colonial home, designed to feel cohesive with the home’s original character while improving function and flow. Iron windows were introduced to align with the rest of the architecture, bringing in natural light and reinforcing the home’s historic language. The space is grounded by manganese saltillo tile and layered with materials chosen for their depth and patina, including bold marble, handcrafted zellige, and tadelakt plaster. Inset large built-in closets were thoughtfully integrated to maximize the footprint without disrupting the simplicity of the space. The focus of the renovation was to create a calm, lived-in environment that feels both elevated and appropriate to the home, striking a balance between old-world character and clean, minimalist elegance.
