From historic renovations to custom new builds, each home is crafted with a collected eye attuned to character, charm, and timelessness. Guided by natural materials and thoughtful detail, the studio's philosophy is simple: elegance lives in authenticity, not excess.
Founded by principal designer Elena "Lenny" Mac, the studio is a natural extension of her lifelong devotion to architecture, history, and the arts. A fifth-generation creative, Lenny earned her degree in Interior Design from Arizona State University while cutting her teeth on multimillion-dollar residences under top firms in the industry.
Lenny's own life mirrors the studio's sensibility: slow summers at her family's 1920s cottage in Michigan, autumns back home in Ohio, winters spent with her husband's family in Australia. Her love of travel, community, nature, fashion, and culture ensures inspiration is a constant, flowing stream — one that continues to shape every home the studio creates.
We work closely with architects from day one to shape each home from the ground up. Every project is designed in response to its setting. Whether it’s a Spanish Colonial in Phoenix, a beach house in Carmel, or a historic lake cottage in Michigan, we aim to honor the architecture, the landscape, and the way our clients want to live.

When you need advice for a specific room, our remote consultations are the perfect solution. You'll get an hour-long session where we discuss layout ideas and installation tips. We'll provide you with a mood board and a comprehensive list of recommended furniture and materials. You'll have the flexibility to order items and hire contractors independently.

Process
From the earliest stages of a project, we work closely with our clients to thoughtfully shape both the home and the team behind it. Our process is meticulously crafted to ensure that each home feels personal, cohesive, and profoundly special from concept to completion.
Inquire - Submit an inquiry, share your project goals, budget, timeline, and inspiration.
Discovery Call - Client informs us where they want to go in terms of aesthetics, financials, and timeline.
Review Project Proposal + Service Agreement - Review scope, investment, timeline, and officially begin the project.
Project Kickoff Meeting - Define the home's overall direction through inspiration, materials, and key design decisions. We set the course for the overall project.
Concept Development Meeting - Review each space at approximately 80% completion with proposed selections and elevations.
Final Design Meeting - Approve the completed elevations, renderings, and all final specifications.
Furnishings Meetings - Review and refine furniture, lighting, art, rugs, window treatments, and accessories.
Procurement - Handle purchasing, order management, logistics, and receiving from start to finish.
Construction Support + Design Implementation -Guide construction, coordinate with trades, and ensure the design is executed as intended.
White Glove Install + Final Reveal -Install, style, and perfect every detail before revealing your finished home.
